Biography

Steven L. Mobley was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit. He graduated from Royal Oak Dondero High School in 1976.

In 1979 Steven married and moved to Battle Creek. He attended Argubright Business College from 1980 to 1982 studying Business Administration and Accounting. Moving out of state in 1982 to find work in order to support his growing family, Steven returned to Battle Creek in the fall of 1984.

Steven has been in the automotive industry since 1985 where he began in automotive retail working for Sunshine Toyota. In 1986 Steven moved to the service side of the automotive business working as an auto service manager for Kmart Corporation. In the fall of 1988 Steven started working for Denso Manufacturing Michigan, Inc. He has been with Denso for the past 20 years and works as a sub leader on the production floor. He also spent 7 years as a member of Denso's emergency response team, being trained as a medic first responder as well as Hazardous Material handling and cleanup.

Outside of raising his children, Steven has been involved in various community activities. He has been a Television Director and Production Instructor for AccessVision, Coached and Umpired for the Post / Franklin Little League, and been involved with the Battle Creek International Balloon Festival, as well as a continuous involvement in the music ministries of the local churches that he has been a part of.

Steven and his wife Michelle reside in the village of Athens. They have 6 children and 6 grandchildren.
